Lakeside Litter Sweep
Saturday, September 16th at Dreher Island in partnership with the Keep the Midlands Beautiful
The cleanup volunteers collected 94 bags or 1410 lbs of trash, plus 6 tires, 2 boat docks, a tv, Ipad, a ladies ring and a gnome . Fun was had by all. A grant from EXtreme Terrain enabled us to have a Cookout for the Volunteers.
Dreher Island State Park is in central South Carolina in Newberry County SC. It occupies all of the largest island in 50,000-acre Lake Murray, a reservoir of the Saluda River.
